Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey for a lighter option
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 4-5 hot dog sausages cut into diagonal slices
  • 1 small yellow onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 can 15 ounces crushed tomatoes (approximately 2 cups)
  • 1 can 8 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 cup sweet banana ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 pound spaghetti broken in half
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Step 1: Sauté the Aromatics
